Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Skembo. By creating an account or using Skembo, you agree to them.

The service

Skembo lets you search for businesses by type, city, and country, and view structured information about the results. Access to full results and export depends on your plan: Free, a One-Time Pass, or Premium.

Accounts

You need an account to search on Skembo. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account.

Plans and payment

• Free — no payment required, subject to the visible-results limit shown in the product.
• One-Time Pass ($4.99) — a single, non-recurring payment that unlocks full results for the one search it was purchased for. It does not include CSV/Excel export, does not grant Premium benefits, and does not renew automatically.
• Premium ($19.99/month) — a recurring monthly subscription that unlocks full results for every search and CSV/Excel export, billed until you cancel.

Card payments are processed by Dodo Payments. We don't receive or store your payment card details.

Mobile-money payment. Where card payment isn't available, you can pay for Premium by mobile money: send the amount to the beneficiary shown in the payment window, using a transfer service that can pay the MVola number, then send your transaction reference from your signed-in account. Premium is activated only after we have verified the payment ourselves, generally the same day. The manual mobile-money price is 89 000 MGA for 30 days of Premium (a fixed amount, separate from the international card price). One payment gives 30 days of Premium, does not renew automatically and is not charged again; paying again before it ends adds 30 days. A payment we cannot verify is rejected and gives no access. Any transfer fees charged by the transfer service are paid by you. We never ask for your PIN, password or validation codes.

Refunds. A payment we cannot verify gives no Premium. If a payment has been verified but Premium has not been used, a refund may be possible case by case. Once Premium has been activated and used, refunds are generally not available, except where the law applicable to you requires otherwise. Refunds are handled manually.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to circumvent plan limits or access controls.
• Use automated means to abuse or overload the service.
• Resell or redistribute Skembo's results as a standalone data product.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Business data

Business information shown in search results comes from third-party sources. Skembo doesn't invent or complete missing information, and doesn't guarantee that every field is accurate, current, or complete for every result.

Termination

You may stop using Skembo and cancel a Premium subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer

Skembo is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We work to keep the service reliable and accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the date above when we do.
